Devon Dementia Conference 2026 tickets now on sale

Tickets have gone on sale for a new conference aimed at improving support and outcomes for people living with dementia and their families across Devon.
The Devon Dementia Conference 2026, hosted by The Filo Project, will take place at Westpoint Arena in Exeter on Friday, 2 October and will bring together dementia experts, family carers, community organisations and sector leaders.
The event will explore new approaches to supporting people to live well with dementia, with talks from specialists in the field alongside opportunities to share ideas and experiences.
A special performance by a Dementia Choir will also feature, highlighting the role music, creativity and social connection can play in dementia care.
The conference is being organised by The Filo Project, an award-winning social enterprise founded in 2014. It provides small-group dementia day support in the homes of trained, paid hosts, as well as family support and wellbeing services.
The organisation says its approach can help reduce social isolation, build confidence and provide regular respite for family members caring for someone with dementia.
The Filo Project has supported more than 5,000 older people since it was established and currently supports around 350 clients across Devon, Somerset, Cornwall, East Lancashire, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
Its Family Support Service also provides assistance to relatives and unpaid carers, who can face significant pressures while supporting someone with dementia.
The conference is intended to provide an opportunity for those affected by dementia, professionals and community organisations to connect and consider how support can be improved across the region.
