This month will see an array of free, fun-filled activities along the Plymouth shoreline to celebrate the King Charles III England Coast Path. Taking place on Friday, 29th and Saturday, 30th September, from 10am-4pm, the events, hosted by Natural England, are an opportunity to explore and find out more about the coastline that forms part of this major new National Trail.

Taking place at a number of locations along the waterfront, including Mount Batten, Plymouth Hoe, the Barbican and Royal William Yard, the events will offer entertainment for all ages. From guided walks and rockpool exploration, to live performances, artistic adventures and family-focused activities, the festivities are free for all to enjoy.

This is one of nine events across the country to introduce the King Charles III England Coast Path and connect people with the natural environment. When complete, this will be the longest managed coastal path in the world, spanning 2,700 miles around the coast of England. It is expected that this impressive long-distance trail will be fully walkable by the end of 2024.

Visit the National Trail website for the schedule of events, where to go, and how to get involved. This will be added to as even more activities are announced and booking links go live, so keep checking for updates: https://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/en_GB/england-coast-path-celebrations-in-the-south-west/
