Frodon, the esteemed racehorse, has gracefully transitioned into retirement at the Frost family farm on Dartmoor.

Since his arrival, Frodon has seamlessly woven himself into the fabric of farm life.

Each morning, Frodon’s day commences with a hearty breakfast at 7 o'clock.

Following this ritual, he engages in a brisk half-hour session on the walker, which is where the stables reset.

Speaking on the horse’s retirement, Jimmy Frost shared: “He took no time at all. He’s just such a professional, relaxed, happy horse.”

Under the watchful eye of the Frost family, Frodon's afternoons are filled with attention and care.

He goes out onto the field with the other ponies, gets muddy and enjoys leisurely rides punctuating his day.

Adding to the allure of Frodon's retirement is his newfound companion and neighbour, Black Corton, also a retired racing stalwart trained by Paul Nicholls.

Tomorrow (March 14) holds particular significance as jockey Bryony Frost, daughter of Jimmy Frost, commemorates the fifth anniversary of her historic victory with Frodon in the Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham.

There, she will ride the Ryanair Chase, five years after her victory with Frodon.

Bryony will saddle up Hitman, another horse trained by Paul Nicholls, for the race at Cheltenham.

"In the afternoon after lunch, my daughter Bryony will ride," shared Jimmy Frost, Bryony's father.

"Tomorrow, she rides Hitman, and I believe he could run a big race for us."

The excitement builds as the Ryanair Chase is scheduled for 14.50pm with fans eagerly awaiting Bryony's performance aboard Hitman.
