TUI aircraft at Exeter Airport
Exeter Airport is ready to kick off its full summer schedule, beckoning travellers to embark on sun-kissed adventures to a wide range of destinations.
With both TUI and Ryanair gearing up to launch their summer flights, the airport is poised for a bustling season ahead.
Commencing in the coming days, a wide range of flights to locations such as Corfu, Crete, Rhodes, Zante, Menorca, and Dalaman are set to commence, adding to TUI's existing routes to Cyprus and Majorca, which began in March.
TUI will inaugurate summer flights to Antalya, Turkey, come July, catering to diverse travel preferences.
TUI has already announced they will have an expansion at Exeter Airport that will see an additional 80,000 seats added to next year's schedule.
With 25 flights per week, including a new route to Ibiza and summer flights to Lanzarote and Tenerife, passengers are spoiled for choice.
Ryanair joins the seasonal flights with a new service to Majorca set to commence on May 2. This addition complements Ryanair's year-round flights to Alicante and Malaga, as well as its summer service to Faro in Portugal, which took off in April.
However, Exeter Airport's destinations have extended beyond sunshine getaways, offering year-round connectivity to key destinations such as Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Guernsey, Jersey, and Newcastle.
Additionally, the airport caters to transatlantic travellers, with Dublin serving as a gateway to various American cities, affording passengers the convenience of pre-clearing US immigration.
Stephen Wiltshire, Managing Director of Exeter Airport, said: “May always marks the start of our main summer season as the full TUI schedule gets underway and builds towards the August peak. We're delighted that TUI will be adding an extra aircraft for summer 2025, and it means there will be even more choice on offer to passengers from across the region, with the ease and convenience of flying from their local airport.”
