Rowcroft Hospice invites adventurers to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro for a vital cause

Rowcroft Hospice is calling all adventure-seekers to take on the challenge of a lifetime in September 2026 by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak. The expedition, running from 3–13 September 2026, offers participants the chance to achieve something extraordinary while raising crucial funds to support Rowcroft’s end-of-life care for patients and families across South Devon.

Open to experienced trekkers and first-time adventurers alike, the climb will be fully guided by experts, ensuring a safe and rewarding experience for all. Participants will journey through breathtaking landscapes as they ascend to the iconic "roof of Africa," joining a team united by the mission of making a profound impact on local families in need.

Hayley Townsend, Challenges Fundraiser at Rowcroft Hospice, said: "Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is an incredible opportunity to take on the challenge of a lifetime while supporting families in our community facing some of life’s toughest moments. This is about pushing boundaries, embracing adventure, and coming together for Rowcroft’s vital work. We’ll support participants every step of the way to make this a truly unforgettable experience - together, we can reach new heights!”
