Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for information to help locate 55-year-old Jason Semple, from the Okehampton area, who is wanted on recall to prison.
Semple pleaded guilty earlier this year to two charges of threatening a person with a bladed article at the White Hart Hotel in Okehampton.
He is now being sought by officers, who are asking the public for assistance.

He is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Police have urged the public not to approach Semple if they see him but to call 999 immediately, quoting reference 50250212626.
Anyone with other information about his whereabouts can contact police on 101 or report anonymously via Crimestoppers.
