Prince William, the Duke of Cornwall, spent more than three hours in Princetown on Tuesday (15 September) as he visited the village to launch a new £250,000 community fund.
During his visit, William met local residents, businesses, community groups and Dartmoor National Park rangers, hearing about the challenges facing the village and plans for its future.
He also visited Princetown Press, where he took part in a traditional letterpress demonstration and produced his own print, before finishing the visit at Princetown Youth Club.
The fund, delivered by Devon Communities Together, will offer grants of between £500 and £40,000 for projects with social, economic and environmental benefits.
The visit formed part of a wider £1.5 million investment package for Princetown announced by the Duchy of Cornwall earlier this year.
