Run 4 Rosie is back, but this year things will be a little bit different due to the global pandemic.

Over the course of March 2021 Chagford Runners are inviting you to join in the Run8 Nomin8 Don8 challenge! Whether it is running 8 miles or km, 8 halves or marathons, 8 walks or cycles the challenge is on – to complete an 8 of your choice!

Run 4 Rosie was launched back in March 2019, by the Webber family and Chagford Running Club, as a 24-hour sponsored run held in memory of Rosie Webber who sadly lost her battle with lung cancer in September 2018. The annual event has raised over £20,000 in the last two years for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. lung cancer is the largest killer cancer in the UK and the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation are the only charity solely dedicated to supporting everyone affected by this awful disease.

With mass events on hold, the Run 4 Rosie team are encouraging as many people as possible, whatever age or ability, to get involved in this challenge and support this vital cause.

The challenge can be as adventurous or as tough as you want to make it – there are no limits! Just complete any activity of 8 and photograph yourself or your Strava, completing your challenge and upload them to the Run 4 Rosie Facebook or Instagram page and nominate your friends to complete #Run84Rosie.
