Barnstaple Chiefs are approaching the halfway point in the National League 2 West season and showing no signs of stopping their winning train.
Stepping up to a new level was always going to be a challenge but Barum have been outstanding over the opening ten rounds of the campaign, winning eight and losing just twice.
The Chiefs sit third in the table, behind leaders Camborne and Luctonians in second. The top three have opened up a cushion on the teams below them and this weekend represents the biggest test yet for Barum, as they travel across the Cornwall border to face the might of Camborne.
Confidence is high in the Barum camp, as they secured another enthralling victory on Saturday, beating Loughborough Students 36-33 in a superb game of rugby at Pottington Road. As the pictures from Bob Collins show, the Chiefs are loving the challenge.
