Nothing beats a day at the races

There is just the faintest whisper of winter thinking about drawing to a close, it’s very faint, but the noise will grow.

For racegoers in Devon, that whisper is loud all-year round, as we are blessed with two superb courses that dovetail their calendars perfectly to give us a regular fix of superb horse racing on our doorsteps.

Exeter is the place for a day of winter racing, while Newton Abbot takes over in the summer. Both are superb venues, combining the fun and flavours required to entice a causal visitor with the hard-nose racing loved by connoisseurs of the sport.
