A new £23 million hotel in Torquay has confirmed to the Torbay Weekly it will open later this year.
Hotel Indigo Torquay, part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts group, will feature 153 rooms and become the 26th open and signed Hotel Indigo in IHG’s UK and Ireland portfolio.
The seafront hotel will include a rooftop bar, two on-site restaurants, and extensive sea-facing terraces. A destination restaurant and bar on the ground floor will overlook Torbay, offering views towards the beaches, harbour and marina.

Guests staying at Hotel Indigo Torquay will be able to use the well-equipped gym or unwind after a day exploring the English Riviera with a range of treatments at the on-site spa.
The hotel will also be pet-friendly, welcoming visitors travelling with their dogs.

Once open, the Torquay hotel is expected to create dozens of hospitality jobs and contribute to the town’s ongoing regeneration along the seafront.
