Local care homes hit the high notes to support Save the Children

Residents, staff and families across Torbay join together in festive song and Christmas jumpers to raise money for charity

Local care homes hit the high notes to support Save the Children

Residents & staff of Belle Vue Care Home singing 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas'

All 41 Harbour Healthcare homes came together on Thursday 11 December for a true sing-along spectacular, as residents, staff, families – and even local dignitaries – donned their brightest Christmas jumpers for a festive celebration.

The specially-formed choir Harbour Voices - made up of residents from every home - performed a selection of much-loved Christmas tunes, filling homes across England and Wales with holiday cheer.

Sophie Keatley, Marketing Executive at Harbour Healthcare, said: "Seeing our residents, teams, families, and local communities unite in song was truly heart-warming. It was a wonderful way to kick off the festive season together – and we may have even spotted a few secret soloists!"

The merry-making wasn’t just for fun. Residents, staff and visitors took part in Christmas Jumper Day, raising money for Save the Children. The campaign supports children and families around the world, proving that Harbour Healthcare can spread joy both near and far.

Since 2012, Harbour Healthcare has grown from a single care home into a family-run group spanning England and Wales, delivering Residential, Nursing and Dementia care – and clearly spreading a little extra Christmas magic along the way.
