Bycroft steps up after an injury to number one choice Joe Whitworth
Exeter City goalkeeper Jack Bycroft has given his reaction to keeping a clean sheet in City's 0-0 draw with Leyton Orient at SJP.
A late injury to Joe Whitworth in the warm-up saw Jack make his League One debut for the club.
Speaking post-match, Jack said: "There are positives to take and it was probably a winning performance. I think first half we probably should have put a couple away and second-half they changed shape and got on top. The boys did well to grind out a 0-0 and ultimately we are frustrated we didn't win the game - but if you can't win it you have to make sure you don't lose it."
On the late call-up, Jack said: "It's obviously not nice when a player gets an injury and hopefully it's nothing too serious to Joe. I've prepped all season and felt ready to step in."
