Goal for Ilsington Villa
Moorland side face tough trip to Plymouth this weekend
Ilsington Villa should know exactly where they stand in the WBW South Devon League Championship stakes after they travel to Plymouth to take on Morley Rangers this Saturday.
Villa continued their goal-laden start to the season by coming from 2-4 down to win 5-4 at Buckfastleigh Rangers at the weekend.
Dan Langford (2), Matt Warman, Jamie Soper and Jack Langford scored their goals.
The victory followed wins over Topsham Town (7-1) in the Sportslighting Devon Premier Cup and East Allington United (4-3) in the league.
Villa and Morley were both promoted to the SDL Premier Division at the end of last season, Morley as champions, and they already have maximum points from their first three games.
The two teams have also been drawn together in the next round of the Premier Cup, with the tie scheduled for Villa’s Lewthorne Cross ground on October 7.
