Watersport spectacular on Boxing Day

Devon waters were bouncing with powerboating brilliance on Boxing Day, as the Exe PowerBoat & Ski Club (EPBSC) held a 20-minute rally, showcasing the exhilarating speed of 19 Single Seater T850 Powerboats & Zapcat inflatables.

A comprehensive course and safety briefing was delivered by Mark Sansom and Commodore Paul Scott. Marshal Chris Taylor and a dedicated team of safety boats ensured the upmost safety amidst the high-octane action.

The craft set off past Dawlish Warren and towards the first turn mark to Exmouth Seafront. The racers sought to maintain optimal speed aiming for a podium position based on lap timing consistency.

As the chequered flag signalled the conclusion, all boats returned safely to the slipway, leaving spectators eager to witness the crowning of the victors. The podium results unfolded as follows:

1st Place: Craig Temple-Murray
2nd Place: Miles Jennings
3rd Place: Charlie Williams-Hawk
