Concerns grow for missing man in Yelverton

Peter Lawrey has been reported missing from the Yelverton area.

Authorities are urgently appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of 56-year-old Peter Lawrey, reported missing from the Yelverton area.

Peter was last seen in the Sheepstor area of Dartmoor around 9.30am on Thursday, February 1.

Described as a 6ft 3in tall white male with a large build, long hair, and a fringe, Peter may be wearing a dark T-shirt, black jacket, dark blue jeans, and carrying a 50-litre dark green rucksack. It is believed he is still in the Dartmoor area.

Concerns for Peter's welfare are growing, prompting a plea from the police for assistance. Anyone with information or who may have seen Peter is urged to contact the police immediately at 999, quoting log number 557 of February 1.

Update: As of the afternoon of February 2, Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed the man has been found safe by the police.
