1 Big Summer 2022 in Plymouth
Plymouth Summer Sessions, slated to be a four-day extravaganza of music and entertainment on the iconic Plymouth Hoe, has just gotten even bigger.
The Summer Sessions music festival will come to Plymouth in June this year.
Joining the already stellar lineup of headliners including Tom Jones, Sting, Gabrielle, Blondie, Madness, and Bryan Adams, are additional acts sure to thrill audiences.
Among the latest additions to the lineup are pop sensation Sophie Ellis-Bextor, renowned rock band The Zutons, and the energetic Hardwicke Circus.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor is set to dazzle on Thursday, June 13, and will be performing before Tom Jones.
Fans can anticipate performances of her hit songs including Murder on The Dance Floor, which recently gained prominence and a comeback in the psychological thriller film, Saltburn, directed by Emerald Fennell.
On Saturday, June 15, The Zutons and Hardwicke Circus will join Madness for what promises to be an unforgettable night of music.
Closing out the festival on Sunday, June 16, will be Australian group Germein, adding their unique sound to the lineup alongside Sting and Blondie.
For the first time, TK Maxx will join Plymouth Summer Sessions as presenting partner, as part of a new agreement with Cuffe & Taylor shows across the country including Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Live at The Piece Hall, Derby Summer Sessions, Depot Live, Bedford Summer Sessions, Southampton Summer Sessions.

With its picturesque waterfront setting and the iconic Smeaton's Tower Lighthouse as a backdrop, Plymouth Hoe is set to come alive with the sounds of live music, welcoming an estimated 15,000 fans to the Hoe.
