Bovey Castle, a historic Devon manor house hotel, is hosting an Easter discovery trail on March 31.

Families enjoying Easter Sunday Lunch at the Great Western 3AA Rosette Restaurant can partake in a scavenger hunt across the hotel's Dartmoor Estate.

Open for adults and children, scavengers can embark on a journey to find hidden wooden creatures throughout the grounds.

The trail offers a sweet reward for those who complete it.

General Manager Dean Gunston said: "Our Easter trail is a great way for younger guests to join their family members in exploring and marvelling at our picturesque grounds."

Open to hotel guests throughout the school Easter holidays, this event adds excitement to the festivities at the 275-acre estate.

Originally constructed by the esteemed WH Smith family in 1907, the property later transitioned into a hotel under the auspices of the Great Western Railway in 1930.

Over the years, Bovey Castle has garnered numerous accolades, including the prestigious 5 AA Red Stars in 2017 for its exceptional hospitality.
