RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter in Exeter is launching a special project called the Serenity Garden, and they're inviting Devon businesses to be part of it.
This unique initiative aims to create a peaceful space for both people and animals, transforming an unused field into a beautiful garden with features like an orchard, pond, and memorial tree.
"We're proud to work with the RSPCA on this project," said Philip Yolland, Managing Director of Urban Earth, the landscape architects involved.
"This space will provide a peaceful retreat for both people and animals, offering solace in times of stress."
The charity is working with professionals like landscape designer Elizabeth Evans to make this vision a reality, but they are seeking financial support.
Despite their annual costs exceeding £1 million, RSPCA Little Valley is funding the Serenity Garden separately.
They're seeking donations through crowdfunding and corporate sponsorships.
"The Serenity Garden represents a beacon of hope and compassion," said Hugh Lowson, CEO of RSPCA Little Valley.
"By sponsoring this project, businesses can play a vital role in creating a legacy of environmental stewardship and animal welfare."
Businesses interested in making a difference in their community can contribute to the Serenity Garden project.
"Businesses have a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in their community by sponsoring the Serenity Garden," said Debs Blandford, Corporate Fundraising Officer at RSPCA Little Valley.
Those interested can find out more through the charity’s crowdfunding page.
What’s more is that individuals can learn more and choose sponsorship packages to support this exciting initiative.
