Five candidates have been nominated for the Tavistock North vacancy on West Devon Borough Council.
A by-election takes place on the same day as the police and crime commissioner election on Thursday 2 May and follows the resignation of Cllr Peter Squire.

The two other Tavistock North seats on West Devon Borough Council are held by Independent councillors Ursula Mann and Jeff Moody.
