The A30 has reopened in both directions following two separate incidents that occurred earlier today between the A386 at Sourton Down and the A388 at Stourscombe in Devon.

National Highways confirmed to The Moorlander that two cars and a van were involved in the incidents, which forced the closure of both westbound and eastbound carriageways just before 7am. The resulting disruption caused congestion to build up for a mile in each direction, with delays of up to 10 minutes.

Drivers were directed to follow local diversion routes while recovery and clean-up crews worked at the scene. Both carriageways were cleared and reopened shortly after 10am.
