Devon and Cornwall Police have been called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars on the A384 near Ashburton at around 10.05am today, Tuesday 21 January.
The force told The Moorlander emergency services are at the scene.
Two people are due to be taken to hospital but the extent of any injuries is not clear at this time.
Local road closures have been put in place.
The incident is ongoing.
