An award-winning chef has returned to a five-star hotel on Dartmoor as the executive head chef, a role he previously held from 2006 to 2013.
Ian Webber has been welcomed back to Gidleigh Park, near Chagford, where he has been leading the team since mid-December.
Ian’s experience spans kitchens in Ireland, France, and Switzerland, along with work in country house hotels across England.
He is known for creating dishes with a clear focus on great flavour.
"It’s great to be back at Gidleigh Park," Ian explained.
Ian is passionate about using the best ingredients and strives to work with suppliers who provide ethically grown and raised produce.
Simon Franks, Regional General Manager at Gidleigh Park, said: "We are thrilled to have Ian back – a great chef and a natural leader. The team is already producing new and exciting dishes, which we can’t wait to share with our guests."
Ian added: "The kitchen team here is ambitious, driven, and dedicated to creating delicious dishes delivered with exceptional hospitality for all our guests. I can’t wait to welcome back those I’ve cooked for in the past and create memorable dishes for new guests alike."
