Police appeal after collision near Yelverton

Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision on the A386 between Plymouth and Yelverton on Friday, 14 February.

Officers were called to the Roborough area at around 11.55am after reports of a collision involving a black Yamaha MT 125 motorcycle and a red Manitou Telehandler.

Sadly, a 19-year-old man from Plymouth died at the scene.

The road was closed while an investigation was carried out.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team have thanked the public for their patience during the closure.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to them but may have seen the collision or have dashcam footage to get in touch via the website or by calling 101, quoting log 288 of 14 February.
