North Bovey Belles WI is inviting women to its Annual Open Meeting on 13 March 2025 at 7.30pm at North Bovey Parish Hall (TQ13 8RA).

The event will feature renowned historian Dr Ian Mortimer, who will deliver a talk titled “The History of England through the Windows of an Ordinary House.”

Known for his innovative approach to history, Dr Mortimer explores multiple time periods rather than specialising in one and has published numerous authoritative history books alongside works of fiction.

Tickets cost £10 and must be booked in advance via northboveybelles@devonwi.org.uk. Entry is free for North Bovey Belles WI members.

Founded in January 2019, North Bovey Belles WI aims to provide a fun, friendly, and educational space for women within the Women’s Institute.
