TK Maxx Presents Plymouth Summer Sessions has announced a landmark partnership with Path (Plymouth Access to Housing) as its official charity for the 2025 festival season, bringing a vital cause to the forefront of one of the city’s most high-profile summer events.

As part of the collaboration, Path will be present throughout the festival’s residency on Plymouth Hoe, engaging with thousands of festival-goers to raise awareness and funds for their mission to combat homelessness and housing insecurity in Plymouth.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the Path team on-site, learn about the realities of homelessness in the city, and take part in interactive installations that share personal stories of those affected. Donation points and awareness activities will be located across the festival grounds to encourage public support.

Founded in the 1990s, Path has been a cornerstone of homelessness prevention and housing support in Plymouth for nearly three decades. The charity provides temporary and long-term housing solutions, assists vulnerable individuals and families, and runs services aimed at preventing homelessness before it begins. Today, Path manages over 250 accommodation units and operates daily street outreach, working directly with those at greatest risk.

The announcement of the partnership comes as Path prepares to mark its 30th anniversary, during what is widely acknowledged as one of the most critical housing crises in recent UK history.

“Partnering with Plymouth Summer Sessions is a huge opportunity,” said a Path spokesperson. “It allows us to bring our message directly to the community, raise essential funds, and highlight the scale and urgency of the homelessness issues facing our city.”

The 2025 Plymouth Summer Sessions, presented by TK Maxx, is expected to draw large crowds to the city’s iconic Hoe. By aligning with a charity like Path, the festival is amplifying its role not only as a cultural event but as a platform for civic engagement and social good.

The partnership reflects a growing trend in the live events industry, where music festivals and large gatherings are increasingly being used as platforms to support causes ranging from climate change to mental health and housing.

As part of its 30th anniversary year, Path is also ramping up efforts to expand its housing stock, reach more people in crisis, and advocate for long-term, systemic solutions to homelessness—goals that this new partnership aims to support through visibility and community engagement.
