Okehampton charity shop appeals for baby item donations

The Children’s Hospice South West shop in Okehampton is calling for donations of baby items such as buggies and cots

A charity shop in Okehampton is appealing for donations of baby items as stocks run low.

The Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) shop on West Street says it is currently in need of cots, buggies, pushchairs, books and toys that are clean and in good working order.

Shop Manager Nicki Budd said: We would really appreciate any donations anyone can provide right now, we are quite low in stock, so it would mean a lot to us if anybody could drop down an old pram they don’t use anymore, or even books and toys.”

The store is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

Please pop down whenever you can, donating any pre-loved items to us makes all the difference, and all contributes to keeping the charity going,” added Nicki.

Children’s Hospice South West supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West.

More information about the Okehampton shop can be found at www.chsw.org.uk/shop/okehampton-shop or by calling 01872 858072.
