Motorists are facing delays of over an hour on the A38 eastbound between the A380 and A379 in Devon following a collision involving a tractor and a bicycle.

National Highways South West has confirmed that lanes 1 and 2 of the A38 Devon Expressway are currently closed as emergency services attend the scene.

The incident is causing delays in excess of 60 minutes, and drivers are being urged to plan ahead and consider alternative routes.

The Moorlander understands that emergency services are on site.

Traffic is reported to be building in the area, with congestion stretching several miles.
