RHS Garden Rosemoor will welcome some of the UK’s most prominent gardening and floristry figures to its annual Flower Show next summer, with a newly expanded live programme running from 15 to 17 August 2025.
Located near Great Torrington in North Devon, RHS Rosemoor is not far to travel from Dartmoor and offers a popular day out for keen gardeners across the region.
The three-day event will feature a series of talks and demonstrations from award-winning experts, giving visitors the chance to gain insight into sustainable gardening, houseplant care, floral design and more.
Among the headline speakers is Jekka McVicar VMH, known as the Queen of Herbs, who will open the Talks Tent on Friday 15 August. McVicar is an organic herb grower and celebrated horticulturalist who will introduce her new book 100 Herbs to Grow.
With 62 RHS Gold medals to her name including 14 from the Chelsea Flower Show, she is widely respected for her knowledge and advocacy of sustainable herb gardening.
Houseplant expert Joe Bagley, also known as The Houseplant Doctor, will appear on Saturday 16 August. Bagley has featured on BBC Gardeners’ World and manages a successful online houseplant store.
His talk will provide practical advice for creating healthy indoor plant displays, drawing on content from his new book How To Make Your Houseplants Love You.
Broadcaster and writer Carol Klein is set to speak on Sunday 17 August to launch her memoir Hortobiography, which explores her life through the gardens she has loved.
The book covers her journey from childhood to teaching and her unexpected transition into television.
In addition to talks, the Garden Room will feature leading floral designers alongside the Floral Art Competition displays. On Friday, National NAFAS demonstrator Angela Turner will present on sustainable floristry, using seasonal and locally grown flowers. Turner has taught floristry and floral design for over 30 years and holds several RHS Chelsea Gold Medals.
Saturday will feature Coral Gardiner, also a National NAFAS demonstrator, who is known for her intricate displays using British flowers. She has been awarded gold medals at both RHS Chelsea and Malvern.
The full timetable of talks and live music is expected to be released later in June.
A limited number of Early Bird tickets are available, allowing access one hour before general opening on Friday or Saturday. These tickets offer quieter entry, easier parking and first pick of the plants for sale.
Breakfast items will also be available from the Shepherds Rest café.
Tickets and further information can be found on the RHS Rosemoor website.
