Path announces NatWest Plymouth as Charity of the Year partner

Homelessness charity Path has announced NatWest’s Plymouth branch as its Charity of the Year partner, launching a 12-month collaboration aimed at supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across the city.
The partnership will see NatWest colleagues take part in fundraising initiatives, volunteer with Project 58:7, and host events at the Plymouth branch. Staff will also provide practical support to Path beneficiaries, including budgeting guidance and financial advice, while both organisations explore new fundraising ideas to help sustain the charity’s services.
The relationship began after a team from NatWest volunteered at Path’s 30th Anniversary Gala in October last year. Following the event, NatWest raised a further £2,500 in match funding for the charity’s Winter Appeal.
Hayley Everett, Strategic Lead on Fundraising and Communications at Path, said: “This partnership with NatWest is a fantastic example of how businesses and charities can work together in genuinely meaningful and mutually beneficial ways. Homelessness is a growing issue in our city, and the challenges people face are increasingly complex. By combining NatWest’s skills, resources, and commitment with Path’s frontline expertise, we can reach more people, strengthen our services, and create longer-lasting change for those who need support most.”
Emma Solomon, NatWest Charity Contact, added: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with Path this year. Spending time with the team at the 30th Anniversary Gala really brought home both the scale of homelessness in Plymouth and the difference Path makes every single day. This partnership allows us not only to raise funds, but to actively contribute our time, skills, and knowledge in a way that supports individuals and strengthens our local community: something our team is incredibly passionate about.”
Founded in 1995, Path works to ensure that everyone has access to a safe and secure home. The charity provides a range of services including rough sleeping outreach, housing advice and support, temporary accommodation, and help into long-term housing.
The organisation says corporate partnerships are vital in generating unrestricted income, allowing funds to be directed to areas of greatest need. In Plymouth, four more households become at risk of homelessness every day, and rough sleeping has doubled over the past three years.
Path and NatWest Plymouth say they are looking forward to a year of collaboration, community engagement and positive change for some of the city’s most vulnerable residents.
Businesses interested in supporting Path can contact the charity’s fundraising team for further information.
