The Moretonhampstead Carnival week this year had, for the first, time a food festival to add another dimension to the week. Court Street in the town was bustling with ‘foodies’ taking in the sights, sounds, smells and tastes from around the world.

Moretonhampstead did have a food festival a few years ago, but now the carnival committee felt that is should be revived and added to the week.

Food producers, drink suppliers, and cooks showed off their wares from curry to ice cream, from Papillion Gin distilled in Moretonhampstead to Barnaby’s Beer.
