WBW Solicitors in Bovey Tracey, has donated £250 to Moorland Community Caring, which helps support vulnerable and isolated people in their community.

Moorland Community Caring has no guaranteed funding stream and relies on grants from local and national organisations plus the generosity of local businesses and individuals to provide services they operate in the local community.

Moorland Community Caring is a local charitable organisation whose aim is to provide friendly support to vulnerable and isolated people in and around Bovey Tracey, Ashburton, Buckfastleigh and surrounding parishes.

Support offered includes befriending, practical help such as transport, shopping, gardening, support with digital technology, social groups and support after hospital discharge.

Tracey Pearce, Partner at WBW Solicitors in Bovey Tracey said: “Moorland Community Caring works tirelessly to provide support to those who need it most in our local community, they are a brilliant charity and we hope that our donation will help them with their efforts.”

Ami Lee, volunteer co-ordinator at Moorland Community Caring commented: “It is a pleasure working with WBW Solicitors, they have a real enthusiasm for being involved with Moorland Community Caring and a determination to make their company inclusive to elder people.”
