A late-night motorcycle crash has left a 17-year-old local sustaining serious life changing injuries in Buckfastleigh.
At around 11.10pm on Friday, April 12, emergency services were summoned to Church Cross Road following reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a Yamaha motorcycle.
The young motorcyclist, whose identity remains undisclosed, suffered serious, life-altering injuries as a result.
In response to the incident, Devon & Cornwall Roads Policing Team swiftly cordoned off the affected area, shutting down Church Cross Road in both directions.
Now, authorities are urging any potential witnesses who have yet to come forward to assist with the investigation.
Additionally, individuals possessing dash camera footage capturing the moments preceding the crash are urged to contact the police promptly.
