All lanes on the M5 in Devon have reopened following an earlier collision that caused significant disruption.

Two lanes were closed northbound between junctions 31 and 29 while emergency crews attended the scene.

National Highways confirmed the full reopening of the motorway shortly before 12.20pm.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area during the closure, which caused long delays for motorists travelling towards Exeter.
