A new housing development featuring eco-friendly homes is set to open in Newton Abbot later this month.
Housebuilder Persimmon Homes will launch its Kings Meadow showhome on Saturday 26 July.
The site includes two, three and four-bedroom properties, and sits on the outskirts of the major Teignbridge town.

The development is being marketed as a sustainable, gas-free site. Homes will be powered by ground-source heat pumps and include features such as electric vehicle charging points, secure cycle storage, and energy-efficient building materials.
The showhome event will run from 11am to 6pm.
Located less than 30 minutes from Exeter and close to the A38 and M5, the site is expected to appeal to families, first-time buyers and commuters.
The site said that Newton Abbot railway station is nearby, along with a range of local amenities including schools, supermarkets, shops, restaurants and healthcare facilities.
Stacey Harris, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes South West, said: “We are proud to be creating a sustainable and inclusive development at Kings Meadow."
The company says the development forms part of its wider investment in the region and aims to “leave a positive and lasting legacy” in the area.
