Police appeal after man assaulted in Tavistock Lidl car park

Officers asking shoppers and passers-by who saw the assault to get in touch

Police are asking for witnesses after an assault in Tavistock.

The incident happened at around 3.45pm on Sunday 7 September in the Lidl supermarket car park.

It was reported that, after a verbal exchange, a man punched another man, knocking him to the ground.

The victim suffered a bruised jaw and cuts to his finger.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the Lidl car park at the time and saw what happened to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or online, quoting crime reference 50250232951.
