A Yellow Warning for rain has been issued Credit- The Met Office
A Yellow Weather Warning for rain has been issued for Devon, with forecasters warning that south-facing hills on Dartmoor are likely to bear the brunt of the wet conditions.
According to the Met Office, more than 50mm of rain could fall over parts of the moor during the warning period of Tuesday (4 November) through to Wednesday (5 November).

Operational Meteorologist Jonathan Vautrey said residents and visitors should prepare for potential flooding and difficult travel conditions.
“Check if your property could be at risk of flooding,” he advised. “If so, consider preparing a flood plan and an emergency flood kit.”
The Met Office is also urging motorists to check road conditions and travel timetables before setting out, and walkers to be mindful of low clouds, poor visibility, and slippery paths.
This evening will remain mostly dry but cloudy, with outbreaks of rain expected to arrive overnight from the south and west.
Tuesday (4 November) will bring grey skies, brisk winds and periods of heavy rain, though temperatures will stay mild with highs around 16°C.
The unsettled weather is forecast to continue through midweek, with further rain at times but occasional brighter spells later in the week.
