Police confirm partial road closure and slow-moving traffic near Whiddon Down (Image- Google Maps)
Drivers are facing ongoing delays on the A30 eastbound near Whiddon Down this afternoon following an earlier accident and emergency repair work.
According to Devon and Cornwall Police Traffic Watch, the road is partially blocked between the A382 at Whiddon Down and Woodleigh Junction at Cheriton Bishop.

As of 4.20pm, traffic is described as busy but moving, with delays continuing through the area.
Earlier updates confirmed the A30 was fully blocked eastbound shortly after 3pm following the incident. Since then, the situation has eased, but lanes remain restricted while repairs are carried out.
