A38 closed in Devon after car overturns near Ivybridge

The A38 in Devon is closed eastbound between Ivybridge and Wrangaton following a collision in which a car has overturned and come to rest in a hedge. All emergency services are on scene.

The A38 is currently closed eastbound between the B3213 at Ivybridge and the A3121 at Wrangaton following a collision involving an overturned car, which has come to rest in a hedge.

Devon and Cornwall Police are in attendance along with all other emergency services. National Highways Traffic Officers are also on scene, providing assistance with traffic management while the incident is dealt with.

Drivers are advised to expect delays in the area and to plan ahead. If this closure affects your planned route, you may wish to re-route or consider delaying your journey until the road reopens.

⚠ Diversion Route

Diverted traffic should leave the A38 at Ivybridge and follow the B3213 through Ivybridge town before rejoining the A38 near Wrangaton.
