Chloe Swift took this stunning photograph on her ageing iPhone in January on the top of Nether Tor.

The photo was shortlisted in a photography competition organised by National Parks to mark the 70th anniversary of the birth of national parks of which Dartmoor was one of the first.

Chloe and her husband Richard and their two boys Jasper 7, and Zac 4, from Plympton, decided to brave the weather and climb to the top of Nether Tor on Dartmoor and took this stunning photograph. Chloe said: “It was really windy at the top and at times difficult to stand, but the two boys sat down and started eating a snack which got blown away.

They started laughing and at the same time the sun came out a little and I took the picture on my iPhone. That evening I saw something about the photographic competition online so though I would send in the picture that I had taken earlier. I was very happy for my picture to have been selected.”
