It was a pleasing weekend for Moorland clubs in the Walter C Parson Cup, the premier knock-out competition for the South-West Peninsula League.
Bovey Tracey were the top performers, swamping all over Dartmouth in a superb 5-0 victory.
Neil Last got the ball rolling with a terrific early brace for the Moorlanders and Dartmouth were a beaten side when Will Allen scored a third. Youngsters Ollie Dowell and Tom Burt scored late for a buoyant Bovey.
Luke Forward tucked away a Lewis Dickson for the only goal of the game, as Ivybridge Town edged past Launceston and it was a tough encounter for Okehampton Argyle, who left it late at home to Callington Town.
The Cornishmen were two minutes from victory when Morgan Reynolds struck a superb equaliser for Okes and Luke Reynolds won it in injury time with another top-class strike.
Bovey host Brixham in the league on Wednesday and then welcome Ivybridge for an enticing FA Vase clash on the weekend, when Okes travel to Dartmouth in the league.
