Tom Daley leads the way for Devon and Britain

A new study has revealed the most influential Olympians sporting for Great Britain in the Paris 2024 Olympic games.  

Experts at Jeffbet.com analysed the Instagram following of all GB Olympians to determine which sports personalities hold the most influence.  

In first place is Tom Daley, with 3.1 million Instagram followers. The springboard diver has achieved four Olympic medals, including a gold at the Tokyo 2020 Games. With his current following, Daley could earn up to £7,600 per sponsored Instagram post.  

Second is Scotsman Andy Murray, with 2 million followers on Instagram, who could earn up to £4,900 per sponsored Instagram post. The tennis star has previously scored sponsorship deals with brands Castore and Under Armour. 

Coming third is 16-year-old Sky Brown, with 1.3 million Instagram followers. The skateboarding superstar made history in 2020, becoming Team GB’s youngest-ever medallist. The champion now has the potential to earn £3,200 per sponsored Instagram post.  

At number four is Tommy Fleetwood, with 670,000 followers on Instagram, who could earn up to £2,500 per sponsored Instagram post. The golf star currently has partnerships with Nike, BMW and Tag Heur.  

Fifth place is Adam Peaty, with 630,000 Instagram followers. The 29-year-old swimmer boasts three Olympic medals, and with his current Instagram status, he could earn up to £2,300 per sponsored Instagram post.  

Placing sixth is Tom Pidcock, with 571,300 followers on Instagram. The cyclist achieved a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and could now earn up to £2,000 per sponsored Instagram post.  

At number seven is Charley Hull, with 570,000 Instagram followers and the potential to earn £2,100 per sponsored Instagram post. The 28-year-old golfer currently has sponsorship deals with TaylorMade and Acushnet. 

Coming eighth is Charlotte Dujardin, with 523,600 followers on Instagram. The dressage rider and equestrian has achieved six Olympic medals; with her current Instagram status, the 39-year-old could earn up to £2,000 per sponsored Instagram post.  

Ninth is Dina Asher-Smith, with 377,000 Instagram followers. The 28-year-old sprinter has won two bronze Olympic medals and could bring in £1,400 per sponsored Instagram post.  

Placing tenth is Keiran Reily, with 344,700 followers on Instagram. The BMX freestyle champion is making his Olympic debut this year, and with sponsors such as Red Bull and Adidas, the 23-year-old could earn up to £1,200 per sponsored Instagram post.
