Visitors to the small town of Chagford on Dartmoor were surprised to see a man in scarlet tights strutting around the square. This was the actor, theatre director, and Chagford town crier announcing the start of the Chagford Summer Music Series of lunchtime concerts. The popular concerts run throughout the summer, every Friday, and are free to attend with donations invited to support the care and maintenance of the historic Grade 1 listed parish church. All are welcome.
