The multi award-winning musical Hamilton is set to take the stage at Theatre Royal Plymouth next month, with a six-week season running from 30 July to 6 September.
Described as "the story of America then, told by America now," Hamilton has transformed the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton into a groundbreaking theatrical experience.
The show features a dynamic score blending hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway styles, making it a cultural phenomenon that has resonated across politics, education, and the arts.

Created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the book, music, and lyrics, Hamilton is directed by Thomas Kail with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.
The production is based on Ron Chernow’s bestselling biography of Hamilton. The creative team previously collaborated on the Tony Award®-winning musical In the Heights.
The 2024 Black British Theatre Award-winner Marley Fenton takes on the lead role of Alexander Hamilton.
Joining him are Billy Nevers as Aaron Burr and Casey Al-Shaqsy as Eliza Hamilton.
