You'll be supported;to pitch for the land and finance you need.
To be eligible, you will either have some farming experience, but not your own land-based business, or have four to ten years’ experience running a land-based farming business.
Defra are looking to recruit about 200 pilot participants in total.
The pilot is not just for arable or animal farming businesses but covers a wider scope to include horticulture, agro-forestry and environmental service businesses.
The pilot will run until spring, 2023, and is free to participate.
