Man sustains 'serious injuries’ in South Brent collision - police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a serious collision in South Brent.

Emergency services were called at around 3.30pm on Tuesday 15 July to the B3372 at the junction with Devon’s A38 off-slip, after reports of a crash involving a white Peugeot 208 and a grey Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The road was closed while officers from the Roads Policing team carried out a full investigation at the scene.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police thanked the public for their patience during the closure and urged anyone with information to come forward.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dash-cam footage is asked to contact police via the Devon and Cornwall Police website or by calling 101, quoting log 574 of 15/07/2025.
