A new Co-op supermarket has opened in Dolbeare Meadow, Ashburton.

The shop also stocks Fairtrade products, pizzas, flowers, and a selection of beers and wines.
Additional services include customer car parking, a free cash machine, and an InPost locker for parcel deliveries and collections.
The new Ashburton store will open daily from 6am to 11pm.
A Costa Coffee Express machine will also be installed soon.
The new store is in addition to the Co-op’s existing branch on North Street in Ashburton.
Store Manager Dan Wells said the team was pleased to welcome shoppers: “The store looks fantastic, and we are really enjoying welcoming the community into their new Co-op. We're proud to be part of local community life.”
Co-op has also introduced soft plastic recycling at the Ashburton site, allowing customers to return items such as crisp packets, bread bags, and pet food pouches that are not collected by kerbside recycling.
The retailer says it remains committed to supporting British farming, with all its own-brand fresh and frozen meat, poultry and dairy sourced in the UK.
