The festive race will race money for Exeter Leukaemia Credit- ELF
Exeter Racecourse will hold a festive race day on Friday 5 December to raise money for the Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF), a charity that supports people in Devon affected by blood cancers and blood disorders.
ELF provides a range of help for patients and their families, including transport to hospital, short-term accommodation, counselling, aromatherapy and practical support during treatment.
Racegoers are being encouraged to dress in Christmas jumpers, Santa hats or full festive outfits.

Anyone who does so will receive a free drink on arrival.
Live music from singer Aston Dobson will take place during the first part of the race card.
A Christmas gifting station will also be set up for people who wish to donate items for ELF patients.
Suggested donations include boxed toys, board games, colouring sets, blankets, toiletries, games, notebooks and books.
Gifts can be dropped off at the Main Office or the Information Point in AP’s Bar.
The final day for donations is Friday 5 December.
An ELF spokesperson said the event is “a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of our work” and encouraged the public to attend while supporting families facing a difficult Christmas because of blood cancer.
Exeter Racecourse general manager Jack Parkinson said the racecourse was pleased to support the charity and hoped visitors would join in the festive spirit.
Return buses operated by Greenslades Tours will run from Exeter St Davids station at 10.50am, returning at 4.25pm.
Group discounts are available for parties of 15 or more.
Further details and ticket information are available on the Exeter Racecourse website.
