Paignton will see a slightly different kind of weekend gathering at the end of January, when Edge & Flow Yoga hosts a morning yoga session followed by a relaxed brunch.
It’s an opportunity to step away from the pace of everyday life, stretch out, and enjoy some quiet time with others.
The 60-minute class will focus on Vinyasa Flow, a style that links breath and movement. All abilities are welcome, with options to deepen poses for more experienced practitioners.
The session is led by yoga teacher and self-confessed foodie Rosie, who describes the aim as creating a space where people can be themselves, move at their own pace, and connect with those around them.
Afterwards, participants can enjoy a brunch prepared by chef Tomo, whose career has included stints at London’s La Gavroche and The Savoy. The menu offers wholesome, seasonal dishes alongside homemade treats, with drinks ranging from herbal teas to fresh juices. The focus is on sharing a calm, nourishing moment after the yoga practice, rather than a formal dining experience.
The event takes place on Saturday 31 January at the Three Palms Hotel, Paignton, from 11am to 1pm, with parking on site. Spaces are limited, and anyone interested in attending can find details online at www.cosycarrot.com.
For those looking to ease into the weekend with gentle movement, good food, and a moment of pause, it offers a quiet, restorative alternative to the usual Saturday routine.
