A charity 10k run organised by Princetown Fire Station is set to return on Friday 30 May, raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity and several local causes.
The run will take place between 6.30pm and 9.30pm, starting and finishing at the fire station in the heart of the Dartmoor village.
The route follows a challenging off-road course and is open to runners of all abilities.
Dogs are welcome and all participants will receive a medal.
Simon Wallace, who works at Princetown Fire Station, said: “This supports current and retired firefighters and their families in a range of ways.”
In addition to The Fire Fighters Charity, funds from the event have also helped support Princetown Primary School, the local gardening club responsible for maintaining the churchyard, and the Women’s Institute.
After the race, participants and supporters can enjoy a barbecue, homemade cakes, and refreshments at the station.
The event is fully organised by the team at Princetown Fire Station and typically attracts runners from across the region.
